OriginOil’s Electro Water Separation™ (EWS) system is a continuous process to efficiently remove oils, suspended solids, insoluble organics and bacteria from very large quantities of water.

Electro Water Separation seamlessly integrates two proprietary technologies: Single Step Extraction™ and Electro Flotation.

The Algae Appliance

The Algae Appliance™ is our standardized algae harvesting product line, providing a low energy, chemical-free, continuous flow ‘wet harvest’ system to efficiently dewater, rupture cell walls if needed, and then concentrate the microscopic algae harvest.

Our breakthrough concentration technology can help algae growers continuously harvest and concentrate from two to 285 liters per minute of algae water.

Algae Appliance Models

Now shipping, Algae Appliance models are rated by their maximum capacity to process algae dilute continuously, shown in liters per minute.

Our Model 4 system can harvest two to four liters per minute (product page).

Our Model 200 can harvest up to 200 liters per minute (product page).

Frack Water Cleanup

When applied to the oil and gas industry, OriginOil’s Solids Out of Solution (EWS) system is used continuously to remove oils, suspended solids, insoluble organics and bacteria from produced or ‘frack flowback’ water. Testing has shown that OriginOil’s EWS system reduces total organics as measured by Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) by over 98% in the matter of minutes.

Frack Water Cleanup Models

Now shipping, CLEAN-FRAC Model 160 is designed to process produced or frack flowback water at a continuous flow rate of 1 barrel per minute or 60,000 gallons/day in continuous operation.
