These are images of the first version of the Helix BioReactor™. They were taken on 19 February 2008, the date the team first showed how algae could be grown around the clock with this revolutionary system. Since that time, several more versions have been developed. Note the presence of large CO2 bubbles which are eliminated in later versions through the use of Quantum Fracturing™.
